I am Oceanus. You might remember me from the Trevi Fountain in Rome — the Titan god you look in the eyes before you make a wish. And every time you say the word ocean, you are calling my name.
In Greek mythology, Oceanus was the Titan god of the great world-river — the continuous flow holding all of creation within it, and the etymological source of the word ocean itself.
The Jungian collective unconscious returns to this profound symbol instinctively: the ocean as the vast, uncharted depths of the psyche — a reservoir of shared experience, instinct, and archetype. We reach for ocean when we try to describe the mind's depth.
Excavated to remind you of the deep, vast instincts and thoughts of our mind and soul.
Handmade in 925 sterling silver.
