I am a nymph. The female soul of the sea, the river, the mountain you pass by at the Aegean. Perhaps you know my sister Echo, who loved Narcissus in silence. Each of us bound to a specific body of water, mountain, tree. We are everywhere you have ever felt the natural world was alive.
In Greek mythology, nymphs are the female personifications of nature — each element holding its own soul, its own female deity. Quite similar to the indigenous ontologies that understand existence as entangled, relational, inseparable.
The Nympha ring is cast at the boundary where earth holds water — branch-like metal grown around aquamarine, the land cradling the sea. Unearthed.
Excavated to reconnect you with nature's tranquillity and soul.
Handmade in 925 sterling silver and set with natural aquamarine.
